Do you think that managing the front office desk is more challenging than that of a corporate facility? If yes, why?
Yes, it is a bit tricky because there are a lot of things happening there such as scheduling patients and visitors, bookkeeping, calling patients and it is challenging to handle all these tasks at the same time.
What duties are you carrying out in the role of medical front desk clerk at your current job?
I am responsible for greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, calling patients to remind them of appointments, handling billing, answering and routing calls, making transactions, and keeping paperwork organized.
What have your achievements been to date?
My greatest achievements has been to redesign the scheduling system for the office thereby ensuring accuracy in appointments.
