Law students wishing to gain experience in legal field and to understand what the practice of law is, can think of perusing internships. Internships are considered as an opportunity for a student to gain an overall understanding of the legal system. Law internships are important for students who want to practice law as they serve as an initiation and a practice ground for students.

Students who practice law in an attorney’s office perform various tasks such as doing research, handling paperwork, helping attorneys with projects, taking part in client interviews, maintaining and organizing files and drafting documents.

Before you start writing your resume for the position of a legal intern, do some research about the prospective company and the prospective employer’s requirements. Mention the required skills and competencies in your resume in an eye-catching manner.
