John Greystoke
HR Manager

Dear Mr. Greystoke:

A visit on your website informed me of your need of a young and energetic salesperson. The position stirred great interest in me because I believe that I possess the required skills and the zealousness needed to execute this role successfully. I therefore wish to formally apply for the position of sales person at Mart7.

I have worked as a sales representative for 4 months at Minnie Mart. Those 4 months in a retail environment provided me with the basic knowledge of the retail world. I learned the basics of customer services, retail management and cashiering services. It was that time when I decided to peruse this profession as my career.

In future, I would like to get a bachelor’s degree in business studies so that I would be able to understand the complexities of the business world. At this point in time, I am certain that I can be an asset for your facility and provide great benefit to you.

My resume is enclosed for your review. I would like to meet with you to discuss my pertinent qualifications further. I will call your office after 6 days to see if it is possible to arrange a meeting at the time of your convenience. In the interim, I can be reached at (781) 712-7777.

Thank you very much for your consideration.
